A mother is finding some comfort after recent video showed what appeared to be her daughter visiting a gravesite.
“There is not one ounce of doubt in my heart because it looks like her head to toe, from her hair to her clothes and chanclas!”
Faviola Rodriguez was only two years old when she was killed in September 2018. She was found dead while in the custody of her mother’s boyfriend.
It has been nearly two years since her death, but the trial has been delayed numerous times.
On top of not getting justice for her daughter, Faviola’s mother, Saundra Gonzales, has recently dealt with people stealing items from her daughter’s gravesite at Masonic Cemetery in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
In a Facebook post she said that other families have had similar issues, and in response to the thefts, one family put up a security camera.
“Another family put a camera facing their loved ones grave and caught the most breathtaking photos of a little girl on their loved ones grave in the Middle of the night,” she wrote.
Their camera captured an image of what looked like a little girl walking up to their loved one’s grave.
The family was concerned and took it to the caretaker of the cemetery.
“…from what we were told the worker was in shock and said, ‘we know that little girl’ and walked them to my daughter Faviola’s grave.”
By chance the two families met the following day at the cemetery and exchanged stories.
“I know it was not only a sign from my daughter but also fate for us all to meet,” Gonzales said.
Gonzales learned about their loved one, James, and knew her daughter had been sent to bring James home.
“I know Faviola was sent to James from the lord to take him to heaven because he is an angel just as she is. I truly believe in my heart she was sent to him to comfort him and to let him know he is okay now.”
This gives me chills. I pray that Faviola’s family will get justice, but I also am glad that her family is able to find some comfort with these images.
