If my body was a car

[ad_1]

My grandma once said if there were anything she ever wished for, it would be old and still feel alive.
Old age comes with a lot of health issues and shortcomings. Some people experience a stroke, diabetes, and other life-threatening diseases.
My grandma will always compare her health to an old car; she said, ‘every time she sneezes or coughs, she feels like her radiator leaks and her exhaust backfires. She wishes if she can trade it for a new model.
Many at times, we forget that time and nature is at our neck. We often live a reckless life forgetting that old age will soon start knocking, and we have not achieved even one-third of everything we ever planned to succeed in life.
Time isn’t always favorable. Do the right things at the right time. Always calculate your movements; you can never be sure of what will happen next.
After college comes searching for a job, we shouldn’t forget other aspects of life and our pursuit of wealth and material acquisition.
We often forget family and all that comes with it in our blind pursuit of things that don’t last.
Work towards achieving things you ought to do before old age comes knocking at your door. One of the most important things to do before old age is having kids and making sure they are comfortable; that is if marriage is one of your goals. Some can choose to be a philanthropist; helping out the less privileged until their dying breath. It all depends on the people.
Not everyone witnesses old age; if you have a family who is old, appreciate and take care of them. It is not always having in mind that you have become someone else’s responsibilities for life as old age comes with one not being able to do things for themselves.
